BROTHERS OSBORNE posted a throwback video of themselves onstage . . . and said, quote, “Dreaming about the good ol’s days today. If y’all just wear your [effing] masks we will get to do this sooner than later.”
They took some heat for that . . . but they didn’t back off.
They added, quote, “Man, people get really upset about this mask thing. Some of y’all are rather sensitive about the mildest of inconveniences.”
Most of the comments seemed to be positive . . . with people rallying around the idea of fighting off the coronavirus, and keeping everyone healthy. But others got fired up about it, and had excuses for why they wouldn’t wear a mask.
There IS a good reason why Brothers Osborne is champing at the bit to get back onstage: They have a new album on the way. It’s called “Skeletons”, and it’ll be out on October 9th. It’s their third album.
John Osborne said, quote, “If ‘Pawn Shop’ was our introduction, and ‘Port Saint Joe’ was like the first conversation we had with someone over a beer . . .
“Then ‘Skeletons’ is the moment where you start getting down to the real stuff and showing who you really are. If you really want to get to know us, this is the record to do it.”
