Multiple grown people that should know better, had to be rescued from the Kern river on fathers day.
No matter how many warnings we give people about not going in the river. Still we get some that think they can handle the life threating waters. On fathers day 4 people had to be rescued after they got stuck in the river around 2:30pm. KCSO deputies and search teams were called to Hobo Camp ground along the 178. All four were rescued and are recovering at home.
