No driver was found after a vehicle was pulled out of the Kern River Friday afternoon after it veered off Highway 178 according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at about 1:17 p.m. when the Toyota Sequoia traveling eastbound veered off the roadway. Emergency crews searched the area for about three hours, CHP said.
It is not immediately clear if the driver was able to get out or is lost in the river, officials told KGET.com.
