This Cookie Notice explains how Rewind 98.1 FM and 93.5 FM use cookies and similar technologies on rewind981.com (the "Site"). It supplements our Privacy Policy.

The short version: we use only general, standard website cookies to make the Site work, keep it secure, remember your display preferences, and count visits. We do not run an advertising cookie network, we do not use tracking pixels to follow you across other websites, and we do not sell or share the information collected by these cookies.

1. What a Cookie Is

2. Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary

These cookies are required for the Site to load and function safely. They are set by our website platform and by our security and bot-protection provider, and they do things like route your request to the correct server, protect our contact form from automated abuse, and maintain a secure session for staff who log in to manage the Site.

These cannot be switched off through the Site. If you block them in your browser, pages and forms may not work.

Functional

These cookies remember choices you make so the Site behaves the way you expect on your next visit. The main example is our on-page accessibility toolbar, which stores your text size, contrast, and readable-font settings so you do not have to set them again.

Analytics

3. Third-Party Content on Our Pages

• Advertiser and prize sponsor banners that link to third-party websites
• App store links for the Rewind 98.1 FM mobile app

If you follow a link from our Site to a third-party website, that website's cookie practices apply, not ours.

4. How to Control Cookies

You can control cookies at any time through your browser. Most browsers let you:

• View the cookies currently stored and delete them individually or all at once
• Block all cookies, or block only third-party cookies
• Clear cookies automatically when you close the browser
• Browse in a private or incognito window, which discards cookies at the end of the session

Look under Settings, then Privacy and Security, in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge. Mobile browsers have the same controls under their settings menus.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the Site, including form submission. Blocking functional cookies means your accessibility toolbar settings will not be remembered between visits.

5. Opt-Out Signals

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request not to sell or share your personal information. As stated in our Privacy Policy, we do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no sale or sharing for the signal to stop. We recognize it regardless.

6. Do Not Track

Browsers offer a Do Not Track setting, but there is no common industry standard for how a website should respond to it. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. We do respond to GPC as described above.

7. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Cookie Notice as our Site changes. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page.
